Color Palette

• Cornflower Blue [5F94FF] - Cornflower blue brings a sense of calm and tranquility to any design and pairs with other blues perfectly. This trait is why the adult is colored this hue as it pairs comfortably with other blues.
• Baby Blue [6ED3FF] - Baby blue is a soothing color associated with nurseries and children’s rooms because of its young and playful tone; fitting for posyandu’s branding and the child piece of the logo.
• Beau Blue [D9EDFF] - Beau blue is the lighter, softer shade of baby blue that complements perfectly with the other colors. This is the ideal and recommended color to use as a background rather than plain white.
• Raisin Black [272635] - Raisin black, a very dark hue of blue, is a better alternative to standard black as it doesn’t overpower the other shades of blue while still complementing the logo palette.
• White [FFFFFF] - White, the color of purity and equality is used in this palette sparingly to balance and highlight the blend of blues. This color is best used on typography and to contrast with dark backgrounds.

Typeface

SF Pro - A beautifully crafted sans-serif typeface designed by Apple to capture posyandu’s new and improved visual identity. The all lowercase design gives a friendly and uniform vibe to complement the tone of the logo. This simplicity allows for a clear and recognizable brand distinction that voices the charater of posyandu.

Geometry

• The Adult - The outline of the larger person was designed to be immediately recognized as a parent comforting a child, the obvious visual identity of posyandu. But because the design is so simple, the identity of the adult is actually more universal and invites people to view the comforting adult as whomever they deem fit whether it be a teacher, a firefighter, or an older sibling.
• The Child - The child piece of the logo is meant to fit inside the adult piece like pieces of a jigsaw puzzle. This reminiscence to a puzzle piece symbolizes the inseparability of a child’s bond and visualizes the love and care that posyandu provides. The brighter blue of the child contrasts well with the blue of the adult as more focus is drawn into the child while maintaining a smaller footprint.

Philosophy

• Family - The two figures of the posyandu logo  give a warm aura of family. It represents togetherness, kindness, and care. It also embodies the spirit of helping and comforting others by outlining one of the most simple yet sincere emotional gestures; a hug.
• Intimacy - The hug in this logo visualizes the bond and closeness when posyandu works within communities. It captures one of the purest forms of human interaction and what makes the logo feel whole and wholesome.
• Empathy - Together, these two main characteristics combined with precisely tuned soft colors and a miriad of calculated angles and curves make the logo all the more attractive. It’s friendly and welcoming shapes invite positive emotions and its practical dimensions will convey its message to anyone anywhere.
